We all have our favourite comedians, stand-up or otherwise, but there are some celebrities out there who make us laugh despite the fact that being funny isn’t even their day job. They really should be charging overtime.
So here is our official ranking of the stars who should really think about adding “comedian” to their CVs.
James Blunt
Actual job: Singer
For years, James Blunt was purely the butt of all pop music’s jokes, despite selling millions and millions of albums. It wasn’t exactly his fault, was it? But, instead of becoming a recluse or taking it all too personally, he became a professional troll baiter on Twitter, personally responding to any negative tweets aimed at him, all in hilarious self-deprecating fashion.
Hugh Jackman
Actual job: Acto

Jackers may be best known for playing the most stoic superhero of the lot in Wolverine, but away from the camera he’s always a hoot. Whether he’s larking about on a chat show or just showing how much he loves life on Instagram, we know we’d love to be his mate, even for just five minutes.
Phil Tufnell
Actual job: Ex-cricketer, sports pundit

Athletes may be talented and dedicated, but there aren’t many who are genuinely hilarious both during and after their career (although we’ll give a shoutout to Jimmy Bullard, purely for this).

Tuffers, however, has always been a barrel of laughs, and continues to create full-on LOLs as a Question of Sport captain. Freddie Flintoff is trying his best, but there’s only one Tuffers.
Will Smith
Actual job: Actor, rapper

With all the MANY things Big Willie has done over the years, being a stand-up comic is probably the one thing he hasn’t tried his hand at. But why does he need to? He’s hilarious in so many of his movies, but he’s also a brilliant chat show guest. He may have lost a certain spark in recent years, but you know whenever Graham Norton or Jimmy Fallon book him, you’re going to be talking about him the next day.
Emma Stone
Actual job: Actor

Not only is she beautiful and talented, but we don’t think we’ve ever seen a photo of Emma where she’s not smiling or laughing. Another chat show favourite, she’s also proved a brilliant host of Saturday Night Live three times, and she turns out to be as nerdy as the rest of us with her love for Spice Girls and Made in Chelsea.
These are some of the funniest celebrities of all times.
